Flats fishing in Key West carries all the

2009 was a pretty darn good year and although
this winter as been unseasonably cold, Key West
flats fishing has been very productive. The cold
did shorten bonefish stay but brought in the
Tarpon early. Our Tarpon are all over the flats
and we have already pulled 4 on fly in the first
week in March alone (nice day Dieter!). Permit
have been on and off. We loose them on most
fronts but they eventually return and have been
the great challenge for the spring so far. That
said, they have been productive on light tackle
but a real challenge on fly.
