| Flats Fishing Tip Bone Fishing is crazy hot. I'm not sure how much our cold winter has impacted the bones this year, as it's definitely been the best year I have had with them. One of the tricks I use are those pesky shrimp heads. Often discarded when using jigs, the heads make excellent scent trails. I drop one at a time every few moments and always see a notable difference. Inshore Fishing Tip Everyone seems to be on the chase for tarpon right now. With an excellent start to the season, it's no wonder. Just remember, catching too many in one spot spells doom for that trophy catch. Chummers, and even boats piled on top each other, attract schooling Hammerheads that feed on the Tarpon. So please, try to avoid big groups of boats or boats that are chumming. And after catching one, switch spots. Tarpon are everywhere right now so need to crush one area or give the hammers anymore advantage.
